GOOD NEWS FROM THE TALLULA CHRISTIAN CHURCH 2-15-19

Pastor Gretchen Barron continues to be our Guest Speaker during the month of February. Last week, Pastor Gretchen challenged us to go a week and to receive every person we engage with as if it were their last day on Earth. The thought definitely slows you down and embraces your fellow man. Sounds like a good way to live your life. May we strive always to reach His glory, but know that we will always fall short of His glory trying to achieve his commandment to us.

Attending church, receiving communion, charity, clothing the naked, healing the sick, living a Christian life and loving your neighbor as yourself is all “food for the soul”. Meanwhile the garden seed is starting to arrive, but at our house the weather is a “one dog night” because we only have one dog.

We would like to extend a personal invitation to each of you to come visit the Tallula Christian Church. Sunday worship services start a little after 10:30 am every Sunday morning. Sunday school continues to meet each Sunday morning at 9:30 for both children and adults. In addition to our regular Sunday activities, the Men’s Coffee Fellowship meets each Friday morning at 8 am and the Ladies Needlework Fellowship meets the first Sunday of each month at 2 pm.

All are welcome at the Tallula Christian Church! We are easy to find just three short blocks north of downtown Tallula at 311 North Yates. And if the weather prevents you joining us, check out our website, tallulachristianchurch.com, where the weekly message is posted for you to read. As we always say, “We’ll leave the light on for you, the light of Christ.” May the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, be with you.
