We at the Tallula Christian Church extend our heartfelt thanks to all who attended our Christmas Carol Program. We sang Christmas carols and a good time was had by all! When we sang “Up on the Housetop”, I remembered all us kids climbing on Dad’s lap as he sang “Up on the Housetop” to all of us. Oh those sweet memories!

A special thank you to Terry Hughes who was our mistress of ceremonies and to Paula Gentry who organized and performed at the evening shindig. Thank you to Gretchen Barron who sang and led the spiritual side of the evening. Hope to see you all next year! God bless us everyone!

Starting on the 1st Sunday of each month, our ladies Fellowship group will meet at 2 pm. Please bring your needlework, sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, etc. with you for this time of fellowship and creativity. Many thanks to Cindy Eicher and Mia Waters for leading this group. All the ladies of the community are invited to join them!

Meanwhile, all are welcome at Tallula Christian Church. Sunday worship services start a little after 10:30 am every Sunday morning. Sunday school for both children and adults continues to meet each Sunday morning at 9:30 for fellowship. Come and visit us! We are easy to find just three short blocks north of downtown Tallula at 311 North Yates. As we always say, “We’ll leave the light on for you, the light of Christ.”

God bless and may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
